Pale bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate with modeled bosom, shoulder blades and hollow, large grey glass enamel inset eyes with darker grey outer rims, dark upper eyeliner, painted lashes, arched feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with pale accented lips, pierced ears,very pale blonde mohair wig over cork pate, very firmly stuffed kid body with very low bodice to allow exposure of modeled bosom, cinched waist, kid upper arms and legs, bisque arms from above the elbows, bisque legs from above the knees with feet shaped as though wearing high heels, molded heels, holes in soles for positioning on original stand, antique ivory silk gown with undergarments. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: A R.C. Depose. Comments: Radiquet and Cordonnier, their deposed fashion doll named "statuette-poupee", registered in 1880; a unique wooden stand with metal rods for positioning the doll was included in the patent. Value Points: extremely rare fashion doll, made more desirable still for its exquisite bisque and painting, original bisque arms and unique legs, and very rare original stand.
