All cloth doll with pressed and oil painted facial features, brown painted narrow eyes with black upper eyeliner, brown shadow, painted brown hair with forelock curls, closed mouth with pouty expression, firmly-stuffed body with stitch- jointed arms, loosely hinged legs with muslin cover. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Kathe Kruse 10566 Made in Germany US Zone (feet) Kathe Kruse XII 120 Nancy (paper label). Comments: Kathe Kruse, circa 1945. Value Points: original costume of red plaid dress with red apron, blue rick-rack trim, red bandana, shoes, socks, undergarment, original label.
