19 1/2" (49 cm). Bisque socket head, painted facial features, dark grey painted eyes enhanced by heavily modeled eyelids and thick black upper eyeliner, one stroke tapered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with shaded and outlined lips, defined tongue and two beaded upper teeth, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume comprising white cotton dress, red straw bonnet, red woolen coat, red stockings, saddle shoes. Condition: generally excellent except typical wig pulls for this model. Marks: K*R 112 49. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, from their art character series, the model known as "Elise", circa 1910. Value Points: rarer large size of the expressive-faced model with deeply defined features and compelling presence, original wig, body finish, fine antique costume.
