Description
5" (13 cm). Porcelain half doll portraying lady in the early 19th century style, head turned sideways and modestly downward, brown hair with looped curls below the ears, under yellow sun bonnet trimmed with interior ruffle and blue band dotted with flowers, painted beaded medallion necklace, low-necked gown with beaded pink collar, flower design, fingerless long gloves, arms modeled away and bent at the elbows. Condition: generally excellent, few rub flakes at base. Marks: Germany. Comments: circa 1910. Value Points: elaborate detail of decoration, arms away.
