Description
2" (5 cm) doll. All-bisque doll with swivel head, painted features, pin-jointed limbs, mohair wig, painted blue shoes, costume, is posed seated on the leather side-saddle of a paper mache grey donkey, with leather harness, tiny bead eyes. Fragment of original paper label on underside of donkey. Excellent condition. French, circa 1890,very fresh and wonderfully preserved arrangement appears original.
