10" (16 cm). One-piece all-bisque figure of blonde haired boy with tousled curls, painted facial features, side-glancing eyes, wistful expression, modeled purple sweater, pants, boots, standing on bisque base in front of sculpted flowered shrub; he holds a soccer ball in his left arm. Condition: restoration to right arm. Marks: GH (sunburst mark). Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1900. Value Points: rare thematic subject with appealing characterization.
