32" (81 cm). Pale bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, large blue glass paperweight inset eyes, rose blushed eyeshadow, dramatic dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with richly shaded lips, pierced ears, brunette human hair over cork pate, French kid gusset-jointed body with shapely torso, stitched and separated fingers and toes, antique gown, undergarments, shoes, fingerless gloves. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 12 (head and shoulderplate) F.G. (shoulderplate). Comments: early model from the porcelain factory of Francois Gaultier, circa 1865. Value Points: very rare large size of early poupee with maker's signature, exquisite painting and bisque.
