Bisque socket head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, rose blushed eyeshadow, brushstroked and multi-feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with shaded and accented lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over Steiner pate, French composition fully jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Figure A No2 J. Steiner Bte SGDG Paris. Comments: Jules Steiner, circa 1888. Value Points: an especially pretty example of the shy-faced bebe with superb quality of bisque and painting, original body, body finish, wig, pate, antique silk mariner costume, bonnet, leather shoes, undergarments.
