Description
7 1/2" (19 cm). Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, brown glass inset eyes, painted lower lashes, incised eyeliner, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented lips, brunette mohair wig, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs with cupped hands, painted white socks with five-lace heeled peach shoes, ivory silk dress with lace trim. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 881 S 6 H. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1885. Value Points: rare model number on the large all-bisque with swivel head, closed mouth, unusual decoration of shoes.
