Description
12" (30 cm). One-piece all-bisque figure portraying a brown-haired girl in dancing pose upon a self-base decorated as outdoor path against a bower of roses. The girl has curly sculpted hair, sculpted lace collar, unusual sculpted pleats in dress, ballerina slippers, and a tambourine at her feet. Condition: excellent, small bisque flake on interior of base is probably original. Marks: Heubach (sunburst mark). Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1910. Value Points: excellent detail of sculpting and painting.
