10 1/2" (27 cm). Bisque socket head with plump cheek modeling, brown glass sleep eyes, painted dark lashes, brushstroked and multi-feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with shaded lips,blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, early composition and wooden six- loose-ball jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 5. Comments: Kestner, circa 1890. Value Points: very beautiful brown-eyed closed mouth child with choice bisque, original wig, pate, body, body finish, and fine antique costume.
