Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, large blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig in long original braids, original muslin stitch-jointed commercial body with joint bands, bisque lower arms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 949 S 2 H. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1890. Value Points: very pretty doll with beautiful eyes and painting, in superb unplayed with condition, elaborately beaded costume, lace coiffe, gilt jewelry.
