16" (41 cm.) All-wooden doll with carved socket head, deeply-sculpted eye sockets, pale blue painted intaglio eyes, white eye dots, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with very full upper lip, center accent line on lips, blonde mohair wig, all-wooden spring-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Schoenhut Doll Pat. Jan. 17,'11 USA. Comments: Schoenhut, model 310, circa 1911. Value Points: very wistful expression achieved by deeply set eye sockets.
