Description
6" doll (15 cm), 13" overall (33 cm). Waist-up porcelain figure of adult woman with very elaborately sculpted hair under a widely brimmed bonnet trimmed with roses and decorative ribbon streamers, having elaborate blouse with very full sleeves, striped bodice with front lacing, holding rose in her right hand, left arm modeled away from body, on muslin lower torso and (new) porcelain legs, with wire-framed pannier skirt. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1910. Value Points: very elaborate painting and decorative sculpting of the rare half doll.
