5" (13 cm). All-wooden doll with painted black hair and simplistically painted facial features has dowel-jointing at shoulders and hips, painted red shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Grodnertal, circa 1840. Value Points: in wonderfully preserved condition, the doll lives in an early oval wooden box and has a detailed original handmade trousseau comprising three complete ensembles, additional skirt, petticoat, chemise, chemisette, laced stays, and three superb miniature bonnets.
