Description
5 1/2" (14 cm). Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, cobalt blue glass enamel inset eyes, painted lashes, single stroke brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with pertly shaped lips,blonde mohair wig, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, painted white stockings with wide blue rims, ivory-painted bisque ankle boots with tiny heels, nice costume in turquoise blue silk and lace dress, straw bonnet with blue silk ruffle. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1 (head and torso). Comments: French, circa 1882. Value Points: very pretty tiny features and beautifully blushed cheeks on the tiny mignonette, unusual painting of boots, with original store box.
