Description
20" (51 cm). Carved/pressed wooden socket head, brown painted upper-glancing eyes with white eyedots, black upper eyeliner, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, brunette bobbed mohair wig, all-wooden spring-jointed body with holes in feet for positioning, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent, small paint flake on nose. Marks: Schoenhut Doll Pat. Jan 17,1911 USA (paper label on torso). Comments: Schoenhut, circa 1912. Value Points: fine original finish is well preserved, artful painting such as feathering of brows, original wig.
