A wooden framed loterie whose base forms a storage cabinet for the loterie when not in play, has decoupage paper and hand-painted decoration on the base, velvet fringed skirt with brass medallions, wooden lottery wheel with silver medallions, and a shelved arrangement that displays wooden lottery paddles and a large assortment of toys and prizes including bisque dolls, wooden dolls, paper mache Punch, paper mache sheep, doll jewelry and lorgnette, glass ornaments, watch, miniature toy dishes, small candy sacks, wooden toys, and more. The majority of the prizes are still tied to their original base. Excellent condition. French, circa 1870,a rare and early loterie with numerous doll and toy prizes in well-preserved state.
