Description
10 1/2" (27 cm). Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, painted blue side-glancing eyes, right eyelid modeled as though "winking", dash brows, wide beaming smile with accented bottom lip, black fleeced hair, five-piece felt body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Lenci (button on back). Comments: Lenci, circa 1928,from their rare series of winking characters, among the first models issued by the firm. Value Points: fine vibrant original condition and costume, representing raggedy man with orange hat, black jacket, brown patched trousers, red scarf, belt, shoeless.
