Bisque socket head with highly characterized facial features of smiling child, brown glass inset eyes, painted curly lashes, incised eyeliner, impressed dimples at eye corners, brushstroked and multi-feathered brows, accented nostrils, slightly parted lips with row of four teeth barely visible, pierced ears, impressed cheek and chin dimples, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique cotton dress, undergarments, striped knit stockings, brown leather boots, straw bonnet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 969 S&H dep. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1890. Value Points: very rare model with most expressive and appealing features, lovely bisque.
