Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, brown glass inset eyes, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips,blonde mohair wig in original long braids, original muslin stitch-jointed commercial body with joint bands, bisque lower arms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S 3 H 939. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1890. Value Points: beautiful closed mouth doll, rarer model with choice bisque, wearing original traditional costume including jewelry and coiffe.
