Description
7 1/2" (19 cm). Lithographed tin figure of adult man with painted facial features, tin flat-top sailor cap with gilt lettering, blue cloth sailor costume comprising middy blouse and trousers, painted black tin shoes. When wound, he moves his entire body from side to side in an amusing manner. Marked "Lehmann" on feet. Germany, Lehmann, circa 1915. Excellent condition, costume worn at back by key.
