Each is all-carved wood with painted details, including Farmer with original costume, hat, goatee, painted black boots; Milkmaid with sculpted brown hair, original costume including apron and bonnet; Mary with blonde sculpted hair and original costume, and the following animals each with painted eyes except pig with glass eyes: lamb with bell, wooden tail, leather ears; bulldog with leather ears and tail, original leather collar; goat with leather horns, ears and beard; cow with bell, leather ears and horns and woven tail; rabbit with leather ears, cat with carved ears and rope tail; goose, and pig with ball-socket neck and open mouth. And with wheelbarrow and milk stool. Fair to good condition, finishes are original but heavily played with. American, Schoenhut, circa 1910, a grand assembly of the classic American playthings.
