All-cloth doll with mask pressed and oil painted complexion, hair and facial features, brown painted hair, brown shaded eyes, black and brown upper eyeliner, closed mouth with wide center accent line emphasizing the pouty expression, muslin body with stitch-jointed shoulders, disc-jointed hips, antique cotton dress with blouse, green felt slippers and cap may be original. Condition: generally excellent, few paint flakes at top and back of hair. Marks: 2171 (right foot) Kathe Kruse (right foot). Comments: Kathe Kruse, circa 1930. Value Points: rare model with endearing expression, original painted finish.
