33" (84 cm). Pressed bisque socket head with very highly defined facial planes including indentations around the eyes, cheeks, and formed lower chin; brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, thick brushstroked and multi-feathered brows, tinted eye shadow, shaded nostrils, closed mouth modeled as though open with very defined space between the lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with plump limbs and elongated torso. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: mystery maker, possibly Georges Most. Value Points: extremely rare closed mouth French character with exceptional quality of sculpting, choicest bisque and painting, original body and body finish, antique military costume.
