Walnut arm chair has curved back and arms, splay legs, ladder supports at the back that are exposed at the back but upholstered in rose silk (frail) capitonne at the front and seats, with decorative brass studs, and bone tips at each seat corner. An unusual and most appealing model, sized especially for fashion dolls and likely sold at a prestigious boutique such as A la Poupee de Nuremberg. Excellent condition except frailty of silk. French, circa 1870.
