Description
10 1/2" (27 cm). Brown felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, painted blue eyes, right eyelid modeled as though "winking", painted white eyedots, black painted lashes and war paint, closed mouth with grinning expression, five-piece brown felt body, black mohair braids. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Lenci (button on left toe). Comments: Lenci, circa 1928,from the rare series of winking characters by that firm. Value Points: fine original condition, the figure wears original felt costume with embroidered details and vibrant colors.
