Description
7" (18 cm). Thick paste porcelain half doll with flared hips, her head turned sharply to the right and gazing into mirror she holds in her outstretched right hand, left hand modeled away from body and held to bosom, elaborately sculpted grey hair decorated with flowers, sculpted green bead necklace and boudoir costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Germany (blue stamp) (and blue symbol of letter N below a crown). Comments: circa 1900. Value Points: exceptional modeling detail, unusual painting of outlined eyes.
