Description
5 1/4" (13 cm). Bisque swivel head with very pale complexion, on kid-edged bisque torso, cobalt blue glass enamel inset eyes, painted lashes and brows, closed mouth, blonde mohair wig in waist- length braids, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, ball-jointed elbows, bare feet. Marks: Bte. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, circa 1880,based upon the deposed model of Ferdinand Sustrac. Value Points: very rare mignonette with jointed elbows, bare feet, wonderful original wig and well detailed, multi-layered original costume.
