Porcelain shoulderhead with rounded plump facial modeling, painted blue upper glancing eyes with delicately painted lashes encircling the defined eye sockets, lightly feathered brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with accented lips, blushed cheeks, unpierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French kid body with unjointed shapely limbs, stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: the porcelain head is in the manner of Adelaide Huret, circa 1860,on early kid body of the same era. Deloire of 90 Rue Richelieu in Paris with elaborate compartments for gloves and "bijoux", and owns an extensive wardrobe comprising: mauve silk dress with chemisette and sous sleeves, leather shoes (illegibly signed, in the manner of Huret shoes),white muslin dress with gold dots, rose muslin dotted Swiss dress, brown taffeta gown with white blouse, homespun day dress, various coats, jackets, undergarments, and various accessories including bonnets, slippers, gloves, hammock, combs and purses.
