12" (30 cm). Pale bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner encircles the eyecut, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented lips, ears pierced into head, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, stretched-kid-over-wooden body with shapely torso, baggy-leg kid on thighs that cover the knee joints, metal upper arms, bisque forearms and hands, dowel-jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees. Condition: generally excellent, right middle finger broken at knuckle. Comments: fabulous early poupee with rare body style, exquisite bisque and painting, very fine antique ivory silk and velvet costume with train, bonnet, silk parasol, and fleeced poodle.
