Solid domed bisque socket head with amber tinted complexion, flat-cut neck socket accommodates to uniquely-shaped torso dowel, slender facial modeling, black glass enamel inset eyes, long painted curly lashes and black brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with downcast pouty expression, black mohair wig, composition fully-jointed body with painted white socks and blue slippers with upturned toes and heels. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 193 0. Comments: maker unknown, Sonneberg, circa 1885. Value Points: exquisite sculpting and painting of the early mystery doll, wearing antique silk embroidered kimono, original body with uniquely painted shoes.
