Description
8" (20 cm). Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, brown glass inset eyes, painted lashes, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth with slightly parted lips, row of tiny teeth, blonde mohair wig, loop-jointed bisque arms and legs, painted white ribbed socks with blue tassels, black one-strap shoes. Condition: generally excellent, left baby finger tip chipped. Marks: 3 1/2 (head and arms). Comments: circa 1890. Value Points: larger all-bisque with swivel head, wearing original elaborate folklore costume of Alsace.
