Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, circa 1882,the bebe originally belonged to the grandmother of French girl Lily who married American soldier George Fogarty that she met in Paris in 1917; the couple moved to Seneca Falls, New York, and having no heirs, passed the doll to Lily's longtime family friends, the Comstock family of Seneca Falls, who have owned the doll until now.
