Description
Suitable for fashion dolls about 15" (38 cm). Included are two bonnets, one of tightly woven straw with blue banding and cerise silk lining (originally as candy container),and the other of pressed felt with elaborate silk banding and feather; along with two pairs of leather shoes, one with hand-stitching, blue silk banding and bows, and the other as ankle boots with tiny heels signed "B.V." for Brasseur-Videlier, the luxury doll firm that operated from 1867-1883, specializing in fashion poupees and their trousseaus and accessories. Excellent condition. Circa 1870.
