Bisque socket head, blue glass enamel inset eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, shaded and accented lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, French composition fully jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: J. Steiner Bte SGDG Paris Fre A 3 (head) Le Petit Parisien Bebe Steiner Medaille d'Or Paris 1889 (body stamp). Comments: Jules Steiner, circa 1890. Value Points: most endearing petite bebe with shy expression, lovely bisque and painting, original body and body finish, wearing original blue silk dress and bonnet with green velvet and lace trim, undergarments, shoes, all in remarkably fine state of preservation.
