Bisque socket head, pale blue glass spiral-threaded paperweight eyes with darker blue iris rims, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, lightly-feathered brows, rose-blushed eye shadow, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with defined space between the outlined shaded lips, pierced ears, original blonde lambswool wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 4. Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1878, first model bebe by the Jumeau firm. Value Points: beautiful gentle-faced bebe with fine painting has original wig, earrings, body, body finish and is wearing superb original Jumeau couturier silk dress, with undergarments, woven bonnet, net stockings, and black leather shoes with rosette signed C.M.
