White bisque socket head with painted red star and sunburst clown decorations, brown glass inset eyes, brown painted curvy brows, red eyeshadow and accent diamond at outer eye rims, open mouth with clown painted lips, four teeth, original two-color clown mohair wig, composition body jointed at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: E.D. Comments: Etienne Denamur, circa 1890. Value Points: rare model in delightful small size with wonderfully painted clown features, original wig, original matching silk clown costume of silk and lace with sequins and colorful pom-poms.
