Description
22"h (56 cm), 27"l (68 cm). A wooden stable with painted blue roof and painted architectural features has carved column supports, two large rooms in eaves, carriage port, and two stanchions for horses, cast iron brackets for hay. Along with two hide-covered miniature glass-eyed horses, one with original blue and yellow horse blanket, and a wooden two-wheeled cart. The stable has a brass label "Au Paradis des Enfants" at the front base. French, circa 1885, an exclusive toy from the most prestigious Parisian toy store located at 156 Rue du Rivoli from 1861 to after the turn of the century. Excellent condition.
