A heavy cardboard room setting with open front can be folded flat and stored in its original box that also served as the floor and frame of the room; with original maroon patterned wall paper and floral patterned floor, two glass windows, each lavishly covered with maroon silk and lace draperies, and having a lavish arrangement of original furnishings, comprising a pair of gilt ormolu frame mirrors, fireplace with silk screen, and attached gilt ormolu mantel clock, dessert server, cupboard with faux-stained glass windows, table with six chairs, fernery with arrangement of silk flowers, and pewter tea service for four. French, circa 1890. Excellent unplayed with condition with vibrant rich colors perfectly preserved, and rich accessories.
