13" x 9" (33 x 23 cm). A wooden box with decorative papers to simulate rosewood is gilt lettered "Toilette" on its lid, and opens to reveal an elaborate dressing set sized for small bebe or larger poupee, comprising washbowl and 4" pitcher with floral decorations and blue borders, matching small bowl, and two lidded boxes, glass bottle with stopper for cologne,"violette" blush, bone-backed angora muff, bone handled brush and comb, mirror. Excellent condition. French, circa 1880,a rare to find complete service in fine condition, in original labeled box.
