16" (40 cm). Solid domed bisque socket head with stringing loop at lower neck, painted blonde brushstroked hair, painted facial features, intaglio blue eyes, large black pupils, white eyedots, black and red upper eyeliner, short feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with parted lips, shaded and accented lips, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing, black velvet suit. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 7 Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1910. Value Points: especially fine quality of sculpting and bisque on the expressive faced boy, original body and body finish.
