Solid domed bisque socket head, blonde painted baby hair with modeling detail of forelock curl, blue glass sleep eyes in half-moon shape, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, incised upper eyeliner, brushstroked brows with decorative glaze, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, shaded and accented lips, two porcelain upper teeth, tongue, composition bent limb baby body, antique linen baby dress with blue silk ribbons. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Hilda c. made in Germany JDK ges gesch 19 N1070. Comments: Kestner, circa 1914,their trademarked character. Value Points: very beautiful gentle facial expression enhanced by choice bisque and painting, original body and body finish, antique dress.
