Description
36" (91 cm). Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, dark painted lashes, incised eyeliner, brushstroked and multi-feathered brows with fly-away detail, accented nostrils, open mouth, shaded and accented lips, two porcelain teeth, tongue, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 126 Germany 72. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1920. Value Points: wonderful large size of the cheerful fellow, with choice matte bisque, original body finish, antique sailor costume.
