Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark painted lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth, shaded lips with enhancing decorative glaze, brunette human hair, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique schoolgirl costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 117 58. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1915. Value Points: exceptional beauty of the sculpting and painting on this example of the pensive-faced child marketed as "Mein Susser Liebling" (My Sweet Darling),with original body and body finish.
