Bisque shoulderhead with plumply modeled face and throat, painted blue eyes with shaded detail and decorative glaze at lower eye rims, thick black upper eyeliner, painted lashes, arched feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented lips, unpierced ears, pale blonde lambswool wig over cork pate, French wooden fashion body with dowel jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips, knees, wrists and ankles. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Adelaide Huret, circa 1865. Value Points: very fine quality of bisque and classic facial painting with enhancing eye glaze, original wig, wooden body with extra articulations, antique dress may be Huret original, bonnet, undergarments, shoes.
