37" (94 cm.) 37" (94 cm.) h. x 24"w. x 22"d. A wooden three-story house including attic, features a very high steeped roof and a small front garden enclosed by a carved fence. There are four bay windows at the front below two gables with arched windows, and unusual double windows at each side that provide access to the house interior. The front door is protected by an arched and pillared front porch. A pair of double chimneys flank the roof which is covered with thick hand-carved roof shingles; and the roof, eaves and window moldings are decorated with intricate detailing on elaborate gingerbread trim. Inside are four rooms, each with a fireplace (the living room fireplace hand-painted and framed by architectural alcoves). There are decorative plaster moldings on the ceilings of the dining and living rooms, and wooden baseboard moldings. The center stair-case has a detailed banister with turned spindles. Excellent condition. Circa 1885, probably English.
