Description
3" (7 cm). Glass nursing bottle with raised designs indicating "Biberon Robert" and "Exposition Universelle 1875" and "Pour Poupee" has black rubber nozzle, wooden cork and wooden nipple. The bottle is preserved in its original box with lithographed design of the bottle on the lid along with advertising. Edouard Robert patented his nursing bottle, for human babies, in 1869 and won worldwide medals for the design for the next twenty years; this miniature version was created for promotional uses and designed to be used with Bebe Teteur. Excellent condition, rubber nozzle broken in one spot. A rare patented toy, very rare to find, with original box.
