German Bisque Toddler by Kestner, Rare Shoulderhead Variation

14" (36 cm.) Solid domed bisque shoulderhead, painted blonde boyish hair, blue glass eyes, long painted curly lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth modeled as though open with shaded lips and tongue, kid body, with pin-jointing at shoulders, elbows and hips, gusset-jointed knees, bisque lower arms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (original Kestner paper label on chest). Comments: Kestner, circa 1915. Value Points: rare shoulderhead variation of Kestner character, with original labeled body.
