Description
12" x 17" card (30 x 43 cm). 1 1/2" x 5" dolls (2 x 13 cm). A heavy paper card is arranged with 27 all-bisque dolls in various styles and sizes, including four black children, children with cloth hair bows attached to modeled bisque hair loop, two dolls with glass sleep eyes, wigs and fancily painted shoes and shoes, all dolls with original factory costumes. Each doll is identical with original factory inventory number. The presentation is from the original factory archives of Hertwig and Co, circa 1920. Slight flaking to complexion of two black dolls, otherwise excellent and wonderfully preserved.
